welcome to The Chef's Review
Cooking can be one of the great joys of life. Even an average cook can impress their friends and family with culinary skill. With a little organization that same cook can host the fantastic parties for any occasion from your town’s best super bowl blowout ever to elegant dinner parties for a dozen or more. Wouldn’t you like for your friends to rave about what you bring to the office party? It is possible to be the best cook you or your friends know and easier than you think.
At Thechefsreview.com we believe that the reason many people do not cook is they have never been taught, so they lack confidence. How can you enjoy something when you are stressing about it or focusing on what you consider your past failures? We want to help you learn to cook better and to encourage you so you can enjoy it more. Let us be your resource. Our information is in three categories (professional, intermediate, and novice cooks). Look for your comfort level and you will find the tips, recipes, and equipment just for you. Also, we are available to answer questions or offer suggestions. Join us on a regular basis. 5 Reasons People Enjoy Cooking
What is it about cooking that is so pleasurable? Yes it’s fun to try that new kitchen tool for the first time but what enjoyment can you get from learning new techniques and trying new dishes? At thechefsreview.com we want everyone to enjoy cooking and everyone can master the techniques of cooking to impress. So if you are one of those people who say they hate to cook, keep reading and see why so many people enjoy cooking.
v Cooking is a status symbol. People look up to someone who can bring the best dish to the family gathering and seek out invitations to the next event of someone who has learned the art of cooking to impress others. They seek the cooking advice of someone they respect and why shouldn't that be you? We would like to help you be the cooking authority for your friends. We have tested many of the latest gadgets and are compiling volumes of information so you can amaze your friends and family no matter what your level of expertise is.
v Enjoy the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction cooking gives us, which is how holiday meals became such an important part of the celebrations. When we sit down to Thanksgiving Dinner and the table is beautiful, the food is delicious and everyone complements us on how good everything tastes, we have a great sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. You don't have to tackle a huge holiday spread to get that sense of accomplishement. You can start simple and work up to a small event.
v There is also a sense of adventure when we cook or bake. The reason we read cookbooks to try new recipes or give parties is the adventure and excitement of planning and doing something new. Imagine that moment of triumph when you taste the finished dish and it is better than you imagined or someone else tastes it and his or her eyes light up. That sense of adventure carries over as you look for new tools and products or you find that new product (toy) and can’t wait to get home and try it out.
v Another enjoyment we all get is pleasing others. You enjoy seeing the reaction of others when you give a gift or do something to help someone. When you cook or bake your specialty for others, you get that same satisfaction. It is great when everyone asks if you are bringing a certain dish to the next family or church picnic because you know they enjoy it.
v There is also the feeling of giving to someone you care about or someone in need and food brings pleasure and comfort. There are more ways that we cook for others than can be listed here. From baking cookies for gifts to cooking dinner for a grieving family, we take on the task because of pleasure and satisfaction that comes from giving to others and often food is the best gift.
When you stop to think about it, cooking and baking are so much more than getting food into our bodies. From kitchen design and great tools, to taking cookies to cheer up your friend, cooking is an important part of our every day lives that everyone wants to enjoy. Men who never set foot in the kitchen enjoy grilling out and children beg to help especially when there are cookies to bake.
